When selecting a device condition, a small number of customers may either overlook the condition descriptions or select a higher grade—such as “Good”—even though the phone is actually in a lower condition. In such cases, we’re unable to offer the price associated with the higher grade, which can understandably lead to disappointment and may also involve the inconvenience and cost of returning the device.
 

To help ensure a smooth and positive trade-in experience, we encourage all customers to carefully review our condition descriptions and thoroughly check their device before making a selection. This helps us provide an accurate valuation and ensures the best possible experience when trading in with us.

Below are the standard device grading categories, which our technical team uses as a reference during inspection. Based on these criteria, the device is assessed according to its actual condition, and the final price is determined in line with its current market value.

New

Your device should be completely unused and still sealed in its original packaging, with all included accessories (like earphones) unopened and in place.
 

If you sell a brand-new, sealed device, you authorise our inspection team to open the box to verify the contents, condition, and authenticity of the device.

Excellent

• Flawless appearance with no visible scratches or damage.
• Battery health is above 80%.
• All parts are fully functional.
• UK model with original software and hardware, not modified.
• Stylus included where applicable.

Very Good

If our inspection reveals that the device condition differs from your description (e.g., cosmetic damage, hardware faults), we will propose a revised price.

Fair

• Heavy scratching, wear, or functional defects.
